Three moves before next week
Name the friction. Invite a partner. Make one artefact.
Inspiration is lovely, but it fades by Tuesday. So here are three small moves, built to survive a busy week.
1. Name the friction
Say it in one sentence.
- People cannot...
- We lose time when...
If you can name it, you can begin to move it.
2. Invite a partner
Bring someone in with a clearly bounded task. It could be a colleague, a customer, a community member, a developer, a designer, or an AI partner.
Flow is a team sport, and the invitation itself is a brave act.
3. Make one artefact
Something visible enough that another person can respond to it:
- a journey map
- a checklist
- a mock-up
- a draft policy
- a set of test questions
- a small prototype
It does not have to be good. It has to be real.
Your turn
Take a moment, in silence, and finish these two sentences. Write them down somewhere you will see them.
The friction I want to reduce is...
The first artefact I could make is...
That is your next step. The rest is feedback.
